Our Company
Genvet Pty Ltd is a completely independent and Australian owned boutique Veterinary Pharmaceutical Wholesaler dedicated to supplying select veterinary products, human equivalent prescription and over-the-counter medicines, exclusively to Veterinarians. We do not strive to be a full-line wholesaler, rather we offer a selection of products that we believe deliver a distinct advantage for our Veterinarian partners.
Accounts
If you are an Australian registered veterinarian, you can register for a free Genvet Account online at www.genvet.com.au. A fax registration form is available upon request.
Once registered, you can browse our product list and place orders online via the Genvet website by entering your username and the password which you created. Alternatively, if you would prefer to place orders via fax, you may request a fax pack be sent to you. All price changes are reflected immediately on our website, so please visit our website for the latest updated price list.
Please note that payments for all orders are due on the 14th of the following month after the order has been placed. Payment terms are strict as it is a key component of how we can offer substantial savings.
Our Freight, Delivery and General Returns Policies
If freight is to be charged it will always be displayed in the shopping cart on the website. Freight is free on all orders over $250 ex-GST.
Orders received prior to 2.30pm are dispatched that business day by our freight company. Orders after 2.30pm are combined into the next business day's orders. Whilst this is the official policy, every effort is made to dispatch orders ASAP.
Returns are accepted on a good faith basis where a particular presentation is unsuitable, but the reason should be communicated within 7 days of delivery.
Our Strategy & Beliefs
- Genvet values all of our customers; it doesn't matter if you are a single practicing veterinarian, a very small practice, a very large practice, or anywhere in between. As a Genvet customer you will have the access to the same products and services as all of our customers.
- Genvet does not hold all products, and do not hold all brands of the products we do hold. We select one brand per molecule of presentation that we believe offers either
- Value for money, or
- A unique benefit.
We will then supply one brand per presentation, known as the "Genvet preferred product".

- To offer and develop customized services exclusively for Veterinarians, which are not offered by the traditional full line Veterinary Wholesalers.
